It may be summed up in one word: renewable energy. This is, at least, the trend that is been set right now. It may take the form of solar energy, geothermal, and other alternatives talked about previously. Even clean coal could get up to speed. Fuel cells are a promising option being used in a limited capacity. Who knows exactly? It will be an important matter, regardless.
